Perfumery Academy

The Scuola Italiana del Profumo was founded through the initiative and determination of Dr. Fernanda Russo, a pharmacist with an outstanding academic background and multiple specializations in Homeopathy, Phytotherapy, Aromatherapy and Herbal Medicine.

The School’s activity began in 1993, marking the start of a journey of study, research, and training in the vast and fascinating world of essences and fragrances. That same year, passion evolved into a structured project: a qualified team of instructors was brought together with the aim of creating a true School devoted to preserving and passing on the ancient art of artisan perfume-making.

The School’s mission is twofold: on the one hand, to share knowledge of great historical, artistic, and cultural value; on the other, to cultivate and train young and passionate olfactory talents, offering them the opportunity to grow and express themselves professionally within a sector in continuous development—niche perfumery, which in recent years has been experiencing significant expansion.

In this way, the Italian School of Perfume positions itself as a bridge between tradition and innovation—a place where ancient artistry meets contemporary sensitivity, giving life to a truly unique educational experience.
